Watched it recently - great movie. 2 quotes that stuck out for me:

I set my expectations higher than I think I can ever meet to constantly see where my threshold lies. I haven’t hit the ceiling yet and I don’t like disappointment, so…

:-( I really hope so. This really made me….idk if paranoid is the right word, but it made me wonder how many other k-pop songwriters, artists, etc echo her statements in silence. And then it bums me out even more.

No, I understand. Haha, getting into the companies releasing statements and what not is a whole different conversation in itself, so I’ll just say this: The companies probably don’t even know who she is regardless of the work she did for them cuz it wasn’t anything major. But I think it’s safe to say she won’t be getting any work from those companies and any other company from now on. There’s no reason a company would risk their reputation on somebody so easily replaceable.

Nothing gets accomplished by constantly ignoring the blatant racism that still exists even still, neither. Violence may not be the answer. Hatred may not be the answer. But is just not saying anything or ignoring it going to do anything either? idk.

I agree, but she’s getting crucified in the most public way haha. Not to mention, she’s probably gonna feel the ramifications of her racism spree for the rest of her life.
